An Afternoon with Emma Vogue

Prior to the release of Queen Divas pictures. This pictorial came first. As a matter of fact. This is  the start of it all. Emma Vouge has been a good friend of  mine for  more than 10 years now. We’ve actually seen each other grow and mature. Though she’s a lot younger than I am, it was easy for me to communicate and relate to her.

The funny thing is , she actually asked our friend Jamiel Nunez ( the make up artist in almost all of the pictorials ) first and Jamiel then asked me.  Since both of them are dear to me, without hesitation, I said yes.  

The Venue is  actually not that far from where we live, actually it’s just around the area where we live. Hahaha! Queen Divas: Mesmerize

So I had the opportunity to  cover a photo shoot for these aspiring ladies. Yes , ladies… okay , okay,  they’re not real ladies. They’ re  lady alternatives.  At  first I was hesitant to do the  photo shoot since it’s very public. The venue was at Plaza Independencia and we all know that’s a very public place. I thought I couldn’t handle the fact that people are staring at us but as soon as I clicked my camera,  it just wen’t on and on and on…

Ann and Kaira

So I had the privilege to do a photo shoot with two veteran models.  Anne  and Kai , Both have been featured already in some amateur and professional photographers’  portfolios and I feel honored working with them. As usual I tagged along Pee Jay’s group  for this. As you all know, I'm new at this stuff so I try to  grab all the experiences I can get. What would you do?

It was 4:30 in the morning  and I was looking at Facebook  posts from my friends.  Jade, a good friend of mine posted this on her wall. The description , " the last guy made me cry" caught my attention. So I clicked on it and watched.  Did the last guy really made me cry? a little maybe but this video  is more than that. It will show  you how certain people respond in certain situations  and it will surprise you  how  a certain act might  just be a front for others and that their true selves are hidden underneath. Emy and Pau 

So finally I had the chance to take pictures with real people. For a start , I met Emy and Pau, two nice girls who were an ease working with. The  experience was all about firsts. Handling these models and telling them what to do was still a bit awkward for me. I was used to taking pictures of dolls  and I don't really instruct them , I just move their hands,make them turn around or tilt their bodies but this time  I can't do that with these girls. These are real human beings so I tried to give instructions.  Good thing. I was with three other Photographers, Jenny , Peejay and Monique made my work at lot easier.  By the way  all these are Peejay's idea. Are you really letting go?

I was quietly browsing  Facebook earlier this morning when I came across a status of a friend. The status had a link attached and there  was a letter of a man narrating about his marriage.
